On the morning of October 7th, 2023, the quiet kibbutz of Kfar Aza woke to a nightmare that would forever be etched in its history. What began as a peaceful holiday was violently disrupted by a brutal and shocking invasion by the terrorist organization Hamas.

The attack breached the kibbutz's defenses, leaving behind a trail of destruction, loss, and immeasurable grief.

Kfar Aza, located near the Gaza Strip, had long symbolized resilience and collective spirit. Founded in 1951, the community fostered a cooperative lifestyle, where families lived harmoniously, connected to the land and to one another. 

But that fateful Saturday morning, this serene community was transformed in an instant.

Fifty-five residents were murdered that day. Seven more, including men, women, and children, were taken hostage, their fates uncertain as they were dragged across the border into Gaza.

The devastation did not stop there. Nineteen soldiers who responded to the emergency lost their lives in the line of duty, some executed in cold blood.

The scenes of destruction and suffering defied comprehension.

Bodies were strewn across the kibbutz, homes were left in ruins, and surviving residents were shattered by the weight of what they had endured.

For the people of Kfar Aza, the road to recovery is a long and painful one.

Many survivors carry physical and emotional scars that may never fully heal. Yet, through their grief, they strive to honor the memory of those who were taken.

They tell their stories not just to remember but to bear witness – to ensure that the world does not forget the price they paid for simply existing in their home.

Israel – Gaza – Hamas situation explained in 6 questions

In order to answer this question first we need to understand a few things:

1. Who is Hamas and what are it's agenda?

Hamas is a Sunni Islamist political and military organization. It has been committed since its inception to the genocidal destruction of the Jewish people.

Moreover, it shares with al-Qaeda and ISIS the objective of global Muslim conquest and views all Western countries as Crusader enemies, with the United States at the forefront.

2. Since when Hamas dominates Gaza?

Hamas took control of the Gaza Strip after winning the 2006 elections over its rival political party, Fatah. Since then the militant group controls Gaza while maintaining its commitment to armed resistance against Israel.
Iran provides it with material and financial support, and Turkey reportedly harbors some of its top leaders. Ismail Haniyeh, who currently serves as the political chief of Hamas, has been operating from Doha, Qatar, since 2020.

3. Is Hamas a terror organization?

Dozens of countries have designated Hamas a terrorist organization.
In the possession of terrorists who participated in an attack on settlements in southern Israel were found exact instructions for preparing a device for dispersing cyanide gas.

"Cutting off the heads of babies, a manual for abducting captives and instructions for the use of chemical substances for mass murder, are murderous patterns of action that testify to the attempt of the terrorist organization Hamas to trace back to ISIS"
Said the President of Israel Haim Herzog in an interview with sky news on 22.10.23

The Hamas will try to kill any Israeli, will it be a Jew, Christian or Arab-Muslim:
– Fatima Talkat, an Arab woman, was shot and murdered in her car on 7.10.23 by Hamas terrorists, when she was on her way to work with her husband and their six-month-old baby son.
In an attempt to protect the child, the husband hid with him in the car, along with Fatima's body, for four hours. Afterward, he concealed himself with the baby for an additional four hours inside an electrical pillar until Israeli soldiers came and saved them.
Fatima left behind her husband, and nine children.

Until now there were 19 Israeli Arabs that were murdered by the Hamas in the attack on 7.10 and due to the missiles launched into Israel since then.

US President Joe Biden described them as terrorists:
"The brutality of Hamas — this bloodthirstiness, brings to mind the worst rampages of ISIS. This is terrorism."

4. Does Hamas represent the Palestinian movement?

The Islamic State of Hamas does not represent the Palestinian national movement but is in fact a fundamentalist terrorist organization and a branch of the ISIS organization in the Gaza Strip.
It fully embraces both their ideology and their grotesque methods of terrorism and mass destruction.

5. Does Hamas represent the population of Gaza?

Evidence show that not only the Hamas use the population of Gaza strip as their human shields, but they also take advantage of their losses for propaganda.
Since the 7.10 the Hamas actively hurt and killed Palestinian innocent people in purpose to accuse Israel.

Gaza is one of the most densely populated urban areas on the planet, so using schools, hospitals and so on is integrated into Hamas's strategy, as they recognize that Israel will make significant efforts to protect innocent civilians..

"many Palestinians do not support Hamas. They condemn the violence against civilians. They express concern about Hamas's growing popularity as it does not have a great deal of political legitimacy within the West Bank. Many Palestinians have expressed serious concerns about the ways in which Hamas operates. And yet, it has captured support by virtue of positioning itself in the vanguard of resistance.

"Hamas does not stand for the Palestinian people’s right to dignity and self-determination. Its stated purpose is the annihilation of the State of Israel and the murder of Jewish people.
They use Palestinian civilians as human shields.
Hamas offers nothing but terror and bloodshed with no regard to who pays the price." (Joe Biden, US President 16.10.23)

6. What happens to those who don't follow the regime?

Those who do not comply with the regime face prosecution. Executions are carried out in Gaza for crimes against Islamic law, acts of opposition against the regime, and certain other offenses.

Such as:
– Abduction, torture and summary killings of Palestinians by Hamas forces. This includes extrajudicial execution of at least 23 Palestinians and the arrest and torture of dozens of others, including members and supporters of Hamas’s political rivals, Fatah.

15.10.23 Hamas blocked the evacuation of civilians in the Gaza Strip ahead of the possible ground offensive by Israel after the Hamas deadly attacks on Israeli civilians. Israel encouraged them to leave North part of Gaza but the Hamas treated those who wanted to leave and blocked their passages. The left behind suffer from lack of water, food and medical supplies.
Further on, the Hamas had bombed the escaping civilian convoy from North of Gaza and killed 70 people.

17.10.23 During the deadly strike at Al Ahli Arab Hospital in Gaza City, over 470 civilians lost their lives, and hundreds were trapped under the rubble.

4.9.22 The Hamas administration executed five Palestinians, two of them for 'collaboration' with Israel.

US president Biden said as a respond to the attack on Israel on the 16.10.23:
"Hamas is a bunch of cowards. They’re hiding behind the civilians. They put their headquarters where civilians are and buildings and the like.”
He also said that he was convinced that “the Israelis are going to do everything in their power to avoid the killing of innocent civilians.”

Summary: The "hidden" agenda of the attack on Israel on 7.10.23

In the passing years, Israel has made significant progress in establishing peaceful relations with numerous Middle Eastern Arab countries, and several others were in the process of formalizing diplomatic ties with Israel as well.

This offense the Jihad and the Global Radical purpose of Muslim control over the world which Hamas is heading for. So the extreme conflict with Israel is intended to "unite" the Muslim countries and communities against Israel, USA and the western world in general.

As these evidence pile up, the world's horror from the Hamas way of action, that is overcoming these of ISIS or the Nazis should decline any negotiation or compromise.

Under these circumstances, the prospects for a peaceful resolution with the Palestinians will be delayed or pushed away. The continuation of terrorism against Israel and the use of the civilian population of Gaza as hostages would be the worst outcome for both Gaza and for Israel, but serves well the Hamas and Iran goals.

For example, US President Joe Biden has expressed his belief that the initial attack on Israel was partly linked to efforts to normalize relations between Israel and Saudi Arabia.

While the ISIS (Islamic State of Iraq and Syria) is widely designated as a terrorist organization that should not exist and the world is disguised from their acts of extreme violence and terrorism, many still feel Hamas deserves some justification.

Story of Uriel, the Hero

A few days ago, I received a message from a friend: "son of my cousin was killed in the war."

Two days latter he told me about the funeral. "The soldier's funeral was difficult. Tears flowed from my eyes. A procession with a coffin wrapped in a flag and young soldiers. There were few soldiers he saved before he was killed. They said he was a hero.

The rabbi, or perhaps it was someone else, said that he is watching over all of us from the sky. The crying mother said that she does not want him in the sky, she wants him here.

People were crying. Suddenly, we heard more crying and weeping coming from 10 meters away, from another funeral, for another soldier. And all the while, in the background, we could hear the "boom" sounds of missile interceptions, probably from Rishon LeZion. Surreal.

The father remanded strong because someone had to, but you could see the pain.

A couple of minutes after the funeral had ended, I was in my car when the sirens started wailing. I stoped the car and crouched behind a stone fence and watched the small cloud of smoke from the missiles above us. This is our reality now..

This is a story of Uriel Segal

Uriel was 19 years old. He lost his life in the battle at Kisufim. Uriel is a hero of Israel, he fought and saved other's lives until his last moment.

On the 7.10.23 ..

There were approximately 30 soldiers in the camp during the holiday when the attack began. Terrorists infiltrated to the camp and started murdering everyone who was there.

At that time, Uriel and some other soldiers were in the camp's dining room. The terrorists started throwing grenades inside.

Uriel caught the grenades with his hands before they exploded and threw them back at the terrorists. Time after time, grenade after grenade… until the last terrorist shot him dead.

Two of his friends were injured during the battle, but eventually managed to eliminate the terrorist.

At his funeral, they spoke about his incredible bravery and thanked him, saying, "If not for you, we wouldn't be alive today." Only a few survived the battle in Kisufim.

The Hamas terrorists attacked Israeli civilians at various locations

The Israeli people awoke on a Saturday morning to a horrifying reality. Thousands of rockets were fired at Israeli villages. Moments later, thousands of Hamas terrorists invaded houses, killing people one by one, taking hostages, and using children as human shields for their protection.

As families sought refuge in shelters, the Hamas set fire to the houses with people inside, and when anyone attempted to escape, they were shot in cold blood..

Simultaneously, a nearby music festival turned into a horrifying massacre. Attendees, dancing at sunrise, were gunned down, some were trapped and burnt inside their cars while attempting to escape. Others were taken hostage, beaten, women subjected to sexual assault, and marched to Gaza. The evidence indicates that many of them were shot at close range in the head.

Hundreds of the hostages, after forcefully had to stroll into Gaza, were paraded before cheering crowds. They were dragging the bodies of the killed through the streets.

In the village Kfar Aza, in the south of Israel Hamas terrorists murdered and beheaded 40 babies and infants.

Video footage depicting the brutality of Hamas is being proudly distributed to showcase their "superiority." Now, Hamas is using both Gaza civilians and over 150 Israeli hostages as leverage to prevent Israel from bombing Hamas targets. They threaten to publicly televise executions as a deterrent.

Hamas has managed to surpass even ISIS in its brutality, carrying out the burning and execution of children, the elderly, and young people. As of today, October 10, more than 1,500 people have been killed in Israel, with the majority being civilians, and over 3,000 others have been injured. Sights and numbers like that were not seen since the holocaust.

This brutality is integral to Hamas's strategy, as they understand that Israel and Israeli army will go to great lengths to protect the innocent, so they deliberately position them for this purpose. Every Israeli death is considered a victory, while every Palestinian casualty is seen as a bonus.

Iran played a significant role in training, planning, and possibly even orchestrating the attack on Israel. This serves a political purpose, demonstrating that neither Israel nor America is all-powerful and discouraging other Muslim Arab states from establishing peaceful relations with Israel.

Another purpose is to encourage the Hezbollah movement in Syria to launch attacks on Israeli settlements from the northern side, near the Lebanon border, with the aim of forcing Israel to divide its military forces. As we've seen happening since yesterday, many people have had to seek refuge in shelters, and more reserve soldiers have been mobilized.
