If you are visiting Goa during the dry season, it is important to check the water levels at the waterfalls in advance.
It is also a good idea to be cautious around the “friendly” monkeys, who may immediately check whether you have anything interesting for them.

Part 1: Travel with meaning. Volunteering to help and save animals:

To Sum Up – Travel Goa Differently

Goa is a perfect holiday destination – beaches, nature, culture, food, and a unique atmosphere. But in my view, connecting with people and organizations working for the community and for animals can make a trip much more meaningful.
A few hours spent at a shelter, volunteering with dogs, helping with feeding, or even simply sharing information can turn a small part of your holiday into something that continues to make a difference long after you return home.
And as the stories of Angel and the dog on Morjim Beach remind us – sometimes we think we are coming to give something to the animals, but in the end, we are the ones who go home carrying the memory with us
